Tom Ongalo is a founding member and the managing consultant of kWh Advisory.
With a background in Economics & Banking and a Masters in information systems from the USA, Tom specialised in the solar energy sector and project development with a clear focus on sustainable energy systems in international markets through experience.
Tom has a profound knowledge of solar markets in Africa, particularly grid-connected solar photovoltaic (PV). During the initial years of his career in solar energy development as project manager at a medium-sized developer company, he was leading a team of several experts. This position allowed him to collect in-depth technical knowledge on photovoltaic energy, as well as extend his experience in project development and finance, project management, government, and PPA negotiations.
